Regardless of how bad the mess in Washington gets, they can't take away the pride we feel for our country. We have to stand up and fight so our rights and freedom aren't taken away.

Every time I hear this song I think back to my second 4th of July after joining the Navy. A friend of mine lived close to Pearl Harbor and we had a 4th of July party at his house. The friends, the meaning of the evening, and the fireworks being displayed over the Arizona Memorial made that night one of my most memorable days, and I am so proud to have been able to have served.
